What You’ll Need

You really only need two simple ingredients to make this Halloween punch recipe. A full list of ingredients with measurements for this recipe is available in the printable recipe card below.

  • Orange sherbet – Not only does this add even more orange flavor to our punch, but it also gives a slight creaminess that also contributes to the bubble effect you see. Extra spooky!
  • Orange soda – I personally like to use orange Crush soda, but Sunkist, Fanta or any off brand orange soda will work too.
  • Mini Marshmallows, Festive Candy and/or Sprinkles– Keep in mind that any black sprinkles will intensify the orange color.

Make it Your Own!

There are endless ways you can make this Halloween punch recipe your own. Here are a few ideas.

  • Adult only libations – If serving at an adult Halloween party, consider adding some liquor! Vodka, rum or tequila would all be fun boozy options.
  • Change the color – Instead of an orange hue, change up the color and flavor of your sherbet. Lime sherbet or raspberry sherbet would be fun.
  • Swap the pop – You can swap out the orange soda for something like lemon lime soda or cherry soda instead.
  • Make it spooky – Try adding a block of dry ice to the punch bowl to make a spooky, smoky scene!

With a festive orange color and fun toppings, this Halloween Punch recipe is kid friendly, easy to make and party perfect for a crowd!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 quart orange sherbet
  • 2 liters orange soda
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • Gummy worms , candy eyeballs or other types of Halloween candy or Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

Punchbowl:

  • Scoop out the 1 quart orange sherbet into a large punchbowl. Scooping helps it melt evenly and easily.
  • When ready to serve, pour the 2 liters orange soda over top and stir until melted.
  • Top with the 1/2 cup mini marshmallows and garnish with Halloween gummy, jelly candy or sprinkles.
  • If serving at a party, make ice cubes in an ice cube tray from additional orange soda and add 5-6 every 30 minutes to keep the punch cold, but not water it down.

Single Cups:

  • Depending on the size of the cup, place 2-3 scoops of sherbet in each cup.
  • Fill, leaving 1-inch at the top, with orange soda.
  • Garnish with Halloween décor and mini marshmallows.

Storage and Freezing

How to store?

This Halloween punch is best enjoyed immediately, but you can store any leftovers in an airtight container or pitcher in the refrigerator for up to two days.

Can I freeze Halloween punch?

Unfortunately, this punch is best enjoyed right after making and I do not recommend freezing it.
