Storage and Freezing
Because the fruit is cut and fresh, leftovers should be refrigerated to ensure food safety. The crust may become a bit softer as it sits in the fridge, but it is still delicious.
As is, I would not recommend it. The fruit will become quite soggy upon thawing. However, if you take the fruit off prior to, you could certainly freeze just the cookie and frosting.

Dry cookie mix…..do you mean the boxed cookie mixes or the refrigerated tubed ones? What brand did you use? Trying to make this on 4th of July so I hope you answer in time. Thank you.
The 17.25 ounces bags of sugar cookie mix. They are dry, powder and then you add ingredients. You can likely use the premade refrigerated dough, I would guess 2 cans, but I haven’t tested it that way.
