Difference Between Pork Tenderloin and Pork Loin
Although they sound similar and interchangeable, these two cuts of meats are actually quite different. A pork loin is a thicker, fatter cut of pork that can be broken down into pork chops and pork roasts. A pork loin is usually around five inches across.
One the other hand, a pork tenderloin on the other hand, is much smaller and only about two inches across. It is very tender (hence the name,) and this is the cut used in these pork tenderloin recipes.
