In a medium sized bowl, add the softened 8 ounces cream cheese (1 brick) softened, 1 1 ounce package of ranch seasoning, 1/3 cup sour cream, and 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. Mix together with an electric hand mixer or with a fork. If the cream cheese is soft enough, a fork should work fine.
Once the cream cheese mixture is combined and smooth, stir in the 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese1/2 cup cooked bacon pieces or crumbles, and 3 tablespoons chives finely chopped. Stir until combined and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with your favorite crackers and enjoy!
