Cream together the softened 4 ounces full-fat brick cream cheese and 1/2 cup unsalted butter until smooth.
Add the 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar until smooth.
Beat in the 1 tablespoon unsulphured molasses, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves and 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
Add 1-2 teaspoons milk if the consistency needs to be thinner for spreading.
