Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat a 12 well muffin tin with cooking spray or vegetable shortening.
Place 3 slices of banana in each muffin well. Top with 4 pieces of biscuit dough. Set aside.
In a small saucepan over low heat, whisk together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and salt until melted. Mixture might still be a bit grainy, this fine.
Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of the sugar mixture over each muffin tin.
Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the tops are light brown.
Remove and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
