Make bold and spicy Nashville hot chicken at home with this easy Nashville hot sauce recipe card made with cayenne, brown sugar, butter, honey, and smoky spices.
Combine the 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 teaspoons coarse kosher salt, 2 teaspoons ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika and honey in a heavy bottom saucepan. Stir over low heat until combined. Mixture will not be smooth.
