Spice up your snack game with this easy hot honey hummus recipe! Creamy chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon, and a drizzle of sweet and spicy hot honey make the perfect dip. Great for parties, meal prep, or healthy snacking. Ready in minutes—bold, delicious flavor!
Place the drained and rinsed 15 ounces canned chickpeas in a large food processor and process until they start to make a paste.
Add the 3 tablespoons tahini, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, ¼ cup water and minced 3 cloves fresh garlic. Blend until smooth.
Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Remove and top with the 2 tablespoons ground hot cherry peppers (hoagie spread). This can be doppled or swirled through. Drizzle with the 2-3 tablespoons hot honey and sprinkle with flakey sea salt, if desired.
Serve with your favorite dippers like pita chips, crackers and fresh vegetables.
