Ingredients

whole milk
1/2
cup
salted butter*
1/3
cup
sugar

ears of corn on the cob
, husked and cleaned

teaspoon
ground black pepper

Instructions
Fill a large stock pot or Dutch oven 3/4 of the way with water. Bring to a low boil.
Add the
1/2 cup salted butter*
,
1 cup whole milk
and
1/3 cup sugar
(optional) bring to a low boil.
Add the
8 ears of corn on the cob
and boil for 10 minutes.
Remove, tapping to get off excess water, and place on a serving tray.
Add desired corn seasoning, pepper, additional salt or parsley or butter and serve immediately.
