Ingredients

  • 8 ounces salmon filet , cut into 2 pieces
  • 2 fresh lemons
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon flat parsley , minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Zest one lemon, set zest aside.
  3. Thinly cut lemons into slices and line the bottom of the baking sheet.
  4. Place salmon filets on top of lemon slices.
  5. Season with lemon zest, Kosher salt, ground black pepper and fresh parsley.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, depending on how thick your salmon filets are.
  7. Remove and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes before serving.
