What is Italian Dressing?

Italian dressing is arguably one of the most popular dressings in the United States. Traditionally it is made up of water, some sort of acid (like vinegar or lemon juice,) some type of oil (like vegetable or olive,) sugar, and a blend of spices and herbs.

Popular herbs and spices that are used to make Italian dressing are:

  • onion
