A refreshing summer drink perfect for parties and BBQs! Cool limeade blended with ice and topped with a heaping scoop of rainbow sherbet!
Looking for the perfect refreshing summer beverage that is ideal for adults and children? I have you covered!
Make sure you PIN these Sherbet Floats!
It combines some of my favorites: Root Beer Floats and Lime Sherbet Punch. Clearly these two can’t be literally blended together and taste good, but I took elements of both for one AH-amazing party punch recipe!
Frozen Limeade Sherbet Floats are made with fresh lime juice, sugar and ice with a large scoop of rainbow sherbet. The adult versions can, of course, be spiked with an adult beverage of your choice.
In order to get the right consistency for any frozen beverage, you will need the power of a Blendtec Blender. Don’t have one?
You are in luck! I got together with a couple other blogger friends to give you the opportunity to WIN your own Blendtec Blender!
Blendtec motors are super powerful and will pulverize nearly anything (have you seen Will It Blend?, where they blend an iphone?), making it just perfect to get ice for any frozen beverage to the perfect consistency.
What is sherbet? Sherbet is a frozen dessert made with fruit juice added to milk or cream, egg white, or gelatin.
No one wants to chew their frozen beverage or smoothie! We’ve all been there- gnawing on a chunk of ice.
Use it to make green smoothies, salsas and dips and even soups! Use my recipe for Frozen Limeade Sherbet Floats at your next pool party, BBQ or lazy summer Saturday night.
FACT: Sherbet is often served between courses during fancy meals to cleanse the palate.

Tools for making Limeade Sherbet Floats:
Blender– don’t skimp on a blender, especially if you plan to make frozen drinks. You need something high powered to get ice into slush.
You can use it for other things as well like making sauces and salad dressings, smoothie bowls, mayonnaise, hollandaise sauce and much more!
Ice Cream Scoop– Not all scoops are created equal! I like a basic scoop, which I run under hot water between each scoop to get a perfectly rounded ball of deliciousness.
